Please prepare three photocopies of the passport photo page.
Please confirm that your passport has at least one blank page for a visa.
Visa Application Form (Original)
One form must be completed for each person, including children.
The form should be printed on both sides.
The contact number must belong to the applicant.
Reservation Confirmation for Flight or Cruise
A reservation confirmation issued by an airline or travel agency showing the entry and departure dates to and from Japan.
The processing period is usually about 6 days, but in some cases it may take up to 1 month.
Delays in processing may result in flight cancellations.
Therefore, please make a reservation only and do not purchase the ticket in advance.
Our office and the embassy will not be responsible.
Proof of Financial Ability
A certificate of income or tax payment issued by a public agency of the applicant or the person living in Nepal who will cover the expenses, and a bank balance certificate.
6. 招へい人との関係を証明する書類
原本を提示し、コピーを提出してください。
・親子関係：出生証明書
・配偶者：婚姻証明書
・その他の親族関係：戸籍謄本など
Documents Proving Relationship with the Inviter
Present the original document and submit a photocopy.
Parent-child relationship: Birth Certificate
Spouse: Marriage Certificate
Other relatives: Family Register (Koseki Tohon) or equivalent documents
Translation of Documents
If the documents are written in a language other than English or Japanese, please submit the original document with an English translation and one photocopy.

Note: From March to April and from September to November, the number of student visa applications increases and the VFS website may experience heavy traffic and limited appointment availability.
Since the visa is valid for three months, if you plan to visit Japan during these periods, please make your VFS appointment as early as possible.

1. 申請窓口について
ネパールでのビザ申請は、日本大使館の窓口へ直接提出することはできません。
日本政府が指定した代理申請機関である VFS Global を通じて申請する必要があります。
Visa applications in Nepal cannot be submitted directly to the Embassy of Japan.
Applications must be submitted through the designated visa application agency, VFS Global.
2. VFS Global 予約
ビザ申請には事前予約が必要です。予約なしでの申請はできません。
VFS Globalのウェブサイトから予約を行ってください。
An appointment with VFS Global is required before submitting the visa application. Walk-in applications are not accepted.
Please make a reservation through the VFS Global website.
The basic service fee includes preparation of documents such as the Letter of Invitation, Schedule of Stay, Letter of Guarantee, and List of Visa Applicants.

クレジットカードの場合、決済用リンク（Visa / Mastercard / American Express）をお送りします。
ご入金確認後、書類作成に着手いたします。
Payment can be made by bank transfer or credit card.
If you choose credit card payment, we will send you a payment link (Visa / Mastercard / American Express).
Document preparation will begin after confirmation of payment.
