This page explains the documents generally required for a short-term stay visa when inviting relatives and friends from Vietnam to Japan.
申請内容、申請人の状況、過去のビザ申請歴、および在外公館の判断により、下記以外の書類の提出を求められる場合があります。

短期滞在ビザとは/What is a Short-Term Stay Visa?
短期滞在ビザは、日本に観光、親族訪問、知人訪問、短期商用などの目的で滞在するためのビザです。
通常の滞在期間は次のいずれかになります。
・15日
・30日
・90日
A short-term stay visa allows foreign nationals to visit Japan for tourism, visiting relatives or friends, or short-term business.
The permitted period of stay is generally 15, 30, or 90 days.

⚠ Important Notes on Where to Submit Short-Term Visa Applications
1. 申請窓口について
ベトナムでのビザ申請は、日本大使館または総領事館の窓口へ直接提出することはできません。
日本政府が指定した代理申請機関（VFS Globalや指定旅行会社など）を通じて申請する必要があります。
Visa applications in Vietnam cannot be submitted directly to the Embassy or Consulate-General of Japan.
Applications must be submitted through authorized visa processing agencies such as VFS Global or designated travel agencies.
2. VFS Global 予約
VFS Globalで申請する場合、事前予約が必要です。
予約はVFS Globalのウェブサイトから行ってください。

If applying through VFS Global, an appointment is required in advance.
Please make a reservation through the VFS Global website.
3. 居住地による管轄の確認
申請書類の提出先は、申請人が現在ベトナムのどこに居住しているかによって決まります。
管轄外の地域で申請することはできませんので、事前に確認してください。
The visa application agency depends on the applicant’s place of residence in Vietnam.
Applications cannot be submitted outside the designated jurisdiction.
4. 申請時期
短期滞在ビザの申請は、渡航予定日の3か月前から可能です。
Short-term stay visa applications can be submitted up to three months before the intended travel date.
5. 手数料
ビザ発給手数料のほかに、代理申請機関への事務手数料が必要となります。
代理申請機関により手数料は異なりますので、必ず確認してください。
In addition to the visa issuance fee, a service fee will be charged by the visa processing agency.
Service fees vary depending on the agency.
6. 不許可時の再申請
審査結果が不許可となった場合、同一の目的での再申請は6か月間できません。
If the visa application is denied, reapplication for the same purpose is not allowed for six months.
7. 理由の非開示
ビザが不許可となった理由や、希望した滞在期間より短い期間で発給された理由について、大使館・総領事館から説明は行われません。
The Embassy or Consulate-General does not disclose the reason for visa refusal or for issuing a shorter period of stay than requested.
8. 証明写真について
証明写真は加工や修正を行っていないものを提出してください。
画像加工や修正が確認された場合、申請が受理されない可能性があります。
Passport photos must be unaltered and must not be digitally modified.
9. 虚偽書類について
虚偽の申請内容や偽造された書類が提出された場合、ビザが発給されない可能性があります。
Submitting false information or forged documents may result in visa refusal.

Step 1 お問い合わせ
お問い合わせの際は、次の内容をお知らせください。
申請人数 / 渡航目的 / 希望滞在期間（15日 / 30日 / 90日）

Step 2 書類確認
日本側の招へい人に必要書類をご案内します。
書類はPDFまたは写真でお送りください。
We will guide the inviter in Japan regarding the required documents.
Please send the documents by PDF or photo for review.
Step 3 お支払い
必要書類の準備が可能であることを確認後、お支払いのご案内をいたします。
ご入金確認後、書類作成を開始します。
お支払い方法：銀行振込またはクレジットカード（Visa / Mastercard / American Express）
After confirming that the required documents can be prepared, we will request payment.
Document preparation will begin after payment confirmation.
Payment methods: Bank transfer or credit card (Visa / Mastercard / American Express)
クレジットカードの場合は決済リンクをお送りします。
クレジットカードの入金確認は通常翌営業日となります。
If you choose credit card payment, we will send you a payment link.
Credit card payments are usually confirmed on the following business day.
ご入金確認後、書類作成に必要な追加情報をお伺いします。
例：招へい人の電話番号、申請人の職業、勤務先情報など。
書類作成のため、ご協力をお願いいたします。
After payment confirmation, we will ask for additional information required for preparing the documents.
For example, the inviter’s phone number, the applicant’s occupation, or employer information.
Your cooperation would be appreciated.
Step 4 招へい書類作成
弊所で以下の書類を作成します。
- 招へい理由書
- 身元保証書
- 滞在予定表
- 招へい経緯書
- 申請人名簿
作成期間：約7営業日

Step 5 内容確認
作成した書類をメールでお送りします。
名前のスペルを必ず確認してください。
We will send the prepared documents by email.
Please carefully check the spelling of names.
Step 6 招へい人へ書類送付
確認後、書類を日本の招へい人へ送付します。
After confirmation, the documents will be sent to the inviter in Japan.
Step 7 申請人へ書類送付
招へい人は、申請人の書類と合わせてベトナムの申請人へ送付します。
The inviter will send the invitation documents together with the applicant’s documents to the applicant in Vietnam.
Step 8 ベトナムでのビザ申請
申請人はベトナムの指定代理申請機関（VFS Globalまたは指定旅行会社など）を通じてビザ申請を行います。
申請は居住地の管轄に従って提出する必要があります。
提出後、日本大使館または総領事館により審査が行われます。
Applicants submit the visa application through a designated visa application agency in Vietnam (such as VFS Global or authorized travel agencies).
The application must be submitted according to the jurisdiction of the applicant’s place of residence.
After submission, the visa application will be reviewed by the Embassy or Consulate-General of Japan in Vietnam.
