Immigration Support

Reason letter and Questionnaire support

Are you preparing documents for your visa application in Japan?

Have you been asked to submit additional documents by immigration?

It is common to feel unsure about how to explain your situation clearly and accurately.

Our office supports the preparation of explanation documents such as Reason letters and Questionnaires.

At our office, all documents are prepared in Japanese.

We support you so that your situation can be clearly explained.

Do you have these concerns?

  • I don’t know how to write a statement of reasons
  • I don’t know how to complete the spouse visa questionnaire
  • I am not sure if my explanation is clear enough
  • I am worried about expressing my situation accurately in Japanese
  • I am not confident about documents I prepared myself

In immigration procedures, it is not only what you write, but how you explain your situation that matters.

About the Reason letter

When applying for renewing or changing a residence status, you can submit a reason letter depending on your situation. This letter helps explain your current situation and background in more detail.

For example, it is useful when your income is not sufficient due to a recent decrease, or when you are considering divorce or planning to divorce, or when your living situation cannot be fully explained by documents alone.

Many people are unsure how much to write or how to explain their situation. Organizing the content clearly is very important.

About the Questionnaire (Spouse Visa)

For a spouse visa application, you are required to submit a document explaining how your relationship started and your current relationship.

In particular, the relationship history (reason letter) is an important document for the immigration review. You need to explain your story from when you first met until now, in chronological order, including specific dates and places based on true facts.

At our office, we prepare a well-organized relationship history (reason letter) as a separate document, based on your questionnaire and our interview with you, in a way that is suitable for immigration review.
